LM2 “Day of Service” - City Union Mission | April 2024

Day of Service

It was an incredible day of service for LM2 Construction & Consulting as our team came together  to give back to City Union Mission in Kansas City, MO. This event was especially significant as the  organization celebrates its 100th year of pouring into the community by providing essential  services, shelter, transitional housing, and support to those experiencing homelessness. It was  truly an honor for our company to partner with City Union Mission and contribute to its ongoing  mission of bringing hope to those in need. 

Our team repainted the hallways in the men's transitional home, bringing fresh energy to the  space. More than just a physical transformation, the day was filled with meaningful connections  and moments of reflection. We heard powerful testimonies from some of the men, gaining a  deeper understanding of their journeys and resilience. It was a day of gratitude and community,  one that reminded us of the importance of showing up for each other.  

At LM2, we believe community engagement is at the heart of who we are. We are thankful to our  partners, Spectrum Paint and Chadd Greenlee, for donating all the paint that made this project  possible. For us, this day of service was more than just painting walls—it was about creating a  sense of renewal and peace.  

We hope this fresh coat of paint symbolizes new beginnings for the individuals at City Union  Mission, and we look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in our community.
