Community Corner: LaTasha McCall Builds the Future of KC

Leading with Purpose
LaTasha McCall is the President and founder of LM2 Construction & Consulting, a 100% minority woman-owned firm based in Kansas City, Missouri. A proud graduate of Hickman Mills, LaTasha is not only breaking barriers in a male-dominated industry — she's also breaking ground on the future.
Recently, McCall returned to her roots to break ground on her company’s new headquarters, located on the former site of the Hickman Mills School District administration building. For LaTasha, the move is symbolic — honoring her past while building tangible pathways to opportunity for the community she came from.
Today, LM2 is managing over a dozen construction projects across the Kansas City metro. From government contracts to community redevelopment efforts, McCall’s work is reshaping the region, one job site at a time.
Through LM2, she aims to give back by creating opportunities, mentoring young professionals, and leading with purpose in spaces that have historically lacked representation.
