One House Changed What We Build
After a decade of building commercial spaces, LM2 Construction & Consulting discovered that our purpose was not limited by project type; it was defined by the people our work serves. That realization began when the Center for Developmentally Disabled invited us to build its new CDD Individualized Supported Living House. Residential construction was outside our traditional scope, but this project challenged our team to think differently about what we build, why we build it, and the lasting impact a thoughtfully constructed home can have on someone’s life.
What began as an unexpected opportunity became the foundation for LM2’s journey into residential development. We saw that a home is more than walls and finishes; it is where safety, independence, stability and belonging take shape. Inspired by that experience, our CEO made the intentional decision to bring LM2’s commercial expertise, disciplined project management, and commitment to quality into residential development, creating homes that are built with purpose and designed to strengthen families and communities for generations.
